Laser distance sensor is a kind of sensor that uses laser beam to measure distance. The robot anti-fall system needs to obtain the distance information from the ground to the bottom of the robot through sensors to ensure that the robot can avoid falling without losing control.

When the distance from the robot to the ground is less than the preset threshold, the sensor will issue an alarm to remind the robot operation control system to take appropriate safety measures, including stopping the robot or changing the path of the robot to avoid falling accidents.
